SEDOLL Sex Doll Factory Visit | TPE, Silicone & AI Head Testing

SEDOLL factory visit update: during our in-person visits and factory checks, Formosa Doll inspected SEDOLL’s TPE production, ROS oral heads, elf doll series, gel-filled body options, skeleton systems, finishing process and the SE-X Bot Annika AI Head, which we tested during our March 2026 factory visit before its public release on 7 May 2026.

SEDOLL is a brand we follow closely because its range keeps evolving, from TPE and ROS head systems to silicone dolls with realistic skin texture, compact formats and now AI-integrated heads. During our original visit, we inspected the TPE production floor in person. During our March 2026 return visit, we also previewed the new AYA silicone series, known as “The Office Ladies”, while SEDOLL was shooting its official marketing material. When we return to the factory or test a new release, we add the details that help buyers understand what has changed and what we verified directly.

May 2026 Update: SEDOLL SE-X Bot AI Head Released After Our March Factory Test

SEDOLL officially released the SE-X Bot Annika AI Head on 7 May 2026, after we tested it first-hand during our March 2026 factory visit. That gave us a chance to handle the AI head before launch, check how the movement system worked, and understand its real strengths and limits beyond the release announcement.

SEDOLL SE-X Bot Annika AI doll head review cover for Formosa Doll, showing the factory-tested silicone AI head with voice response, facial movement, compatibility notes and real-use limits.

This visit was different from our earlier SEDOLL inspection. Instead of looking only at TPE production, ROS head structure, finishing and body options, we were testing whether SEDOLL’s AI head felt like a release-ready product or only an early concept. The answer was more balanced than a simple yes or no: the technology is real, the expression movement is meaningful, and the product direction is credible, but buyers should still understand that this is first-generation AI doll head technology.

The SE-X Bot Annika AI Head adds voice response, Wi-Fi-based AI conversation and facial movement across the eyes, eyelids, eyebrows and mouth. During our factory test, the Annika face kept the recognisable SEDOLL look, while the movement system gave the head a stronger sense of response than a static silicone head.

It does not include oral function, and compatibility should be checked carefully before pairing it with a body, especially with TPE bodies or non-SEDOLL builds. With a heavier AI head, “it attaches” is not the same as “it fits well”. Connector fit, neck support, body material and balance all matter.

For buyers, the main value is not that the SE-X Bot is already perfect. It is that SEDOLL has moved AI doll head technology into something we could physically test, handle and evaluate at the factory. Conversation is still not seamless, memory is still developing, and Wi-Fi is required. Still, compared with several early AI head concepts we have seen over the past year and a half, this one feels more like a real product direction than only a concept video.

March 2026 Preview: SEDOLL AYA Silicone Series, “The Office Ladies”

During the same March 2026 factory visit, we also saw SEDOLL’s new AYA silicone series, known as “The Office Ladies”, while the team was shooting its official marketing material. This gave us an early look at the series before wider public release and helped us understand how SEDOLL is developing its newer silicone direction alongside its established TPE range.

This is an important detail because our original factory visit focused on the TPE production floor. We do not want to imply that we inspected a full silicone production line if we did not. What we did see in March was the finished AYA silicone series being prepared for official brand content, giving us a direct preview of the styling, surface finish and more realistic skin texture SEDOLL is now pushing in its silicone models.

On set with SEDOLL new Silicone Office Ladies

SEDOLL’s AYA silicone series, “The Office Ladies”, previewed during our March 2026 factory visit while the official marketing material was being created.

The AYA series feels different from SEDOLL’s fantasy-led elf dolls. It leans into a more modern, polished character direction, with office-inspired styling and a stronger focus on realistic presentation. For buyers, the main point is that SEDOLL is not only improving TPE softness or ROS head function. The brand is also building out silicone models with more detailed skin texture and a more editorial visual identity.

That is why we continue to include selected SEDOLL silicone dolls in our curated range. We did not judge them only from product listings. We saw the new series during the factory visit, watched the brand prepare its official material, and used that preview to understand where SEDOLL’s silicone catalogue is heading.

Why We Visited SEDOLL

At Formosa Doll, we do not choose partner brands from catalogue images alone. We visit factories, inspect production, handle finished dolls and ask practical questions about materials, head systems, skeletons, finishing and after-sales support.

With SEDOLL, we wanted to verify the full TPE and STPE production flow, from raw material and moulding through to trimming, finishing, make-up and final checks. We were especially interested in their ROS heads, joint precision, standing-feet structure, gel-filled body options and consistency in face sculpting.

We visited in person alongside Lily and Sherry from the SEDOLL sales team, who guided us through the visit and answered our technical questions. That direct access gave us a clearer view of how SEDOLL works behind the product photos.

First Impressions at the SEDOLL Office

Our visit began at SEDOLL’s main office, where the team gave us a detailed brand presentation before we moved into the production side of the visit. The 3D design team was modelling upcoming dolls live on screen, while the marketing team was preparing the next promotion.

That office stage mattered because it showed us how SEDOLL connects design, production and commercial planning. A doll does not begin at the mould. It begins with concept direction, body design, face modelling, buyer demand and the technical choices that decide how the final product will be built.

The team answered our technical questions clearly and followed up after the visit with the materials and information we had requested. For us, that matters because good factory relationships are not only about the visit itself. They are also about how openly the team responds when we need to verify details for buyers.

Inside the SEDOLL Factory Workshop

From the Shenzhen office, we moved to the production facility in the Zhongshan factory area, where each major manufacturing stage is handled in-house. This is where the visit became most useful, because it let us see the production process before the final product is styled, photographed and prepared for sale.

The full TPE manufacturing line included skeleton assembly, TPE injection into moulds, trimming, polishing, powdering and airbrushed body finishing. Each stage affects the final result. Skeleton alignment influences posing and stability. Moulding affects body shape and surface consistency. Trimming and polishing affect how clean the final edges feel. Powdering and finishing influence how the doll looks and handles when it reaches the customer.

This is the type of inspection that product photos cannot replace. A finished doll can look convincing from one angle, but the workshop shows how much process sits behind that final image.

Skeletons, Standing Feet and Body Support

A doll skeleton is not something most buyers can judge from a product image, but it has a direct effect on daily handling. It influences how the doll poses, how stable the body feels, how the joints respond and how much care is needed when moving or storing the doll.

During our visit, we compared different skeleton directions, including the heavier SX robot frame and SEDOLL’s more flexible EVO frame. The difference matters because movement features, joint flexibility and long-term durability all create trade-offs. A more complex system can add function, but it may also add weight. A flexible frame can improve posing, but the buyer still needs to understand how to handle the doll properly.

Two different structure directions: the heavier SX robot frame on the left and SEDOLL’s flexible EVO frame on the right.

TPE Production, Moulds and Internal Texture

One of the most useful parts of the visit was seeing the moulds and internal texture inserts used during production. These details matter because softness and visual shape are only part of the final product. Internal texture, body form, gel placement and mould precision all affect the ownership experience.

SEDOLL’s mould process showed how specific body features are shaped before finishing begins. We looked at the moulds used for gel-filled breasts and the textured insert positioned inside the full-body cavity before injection. These details are not glamorous, but they are exactly the kind of proof we look for during a factory visit.

ROS Heads and Standard Closed-Mouth Heads

We also handled both ROS heads and standard closed-mouth heads. The difference is not only visual. ROS heads use a movable jaw and a more detailed internal oral structure, while closed-mouth heads are solid and better suited to buyers who prioritise firmness, simpler handling and lower tear risk.

This is one of the most important choices in the SEDOLL range because it changes the way the head is used, cleaned and maintained. A ROS head offers more function, but it also has more internal structure. A closed-mouth head is simpler and more stable, but it does not offer the same oral experience.

From a buyer’s point of view, neither option is automatically better. The right choice depends on whether you prefer function, maintenance simplicity, firmness, or a more complex head system.

Make-Up, Skin Texture and Surface Finish

SEDOLL’s facial finishing was one of the stronger parts of the visit. The shading, lip texture and small make-up details gave the faces more depth than a flat factory finish. The body make-up and skin texture also deserved attention because they affect how the doll looks beyond the face.

Good surface finish should not depend only on heavy colour. It should support the sculpt, add softness to the visual impression and stay controlled around areas such as the lips, eyes, skin tone transitions and body shading. During the visit, we saw enough detail to understand why SEDOLL has a strong reputation in fantasy and character-led models.

Softness, Gel-Filled Areas and Real Handling

SEDOLL’s gel-filled breasts and curves were noticeably soft during our visit, with good compression and rebound. This is a feature buyers often ask about, but it needs to be understood properly.

A gel-filled area can improve softness and tactile response, especially in selected body zones. It does not mean the entire doll is automatically easier to handle, and it does not replace the need to compare body size, weight, material, skeleton type and care requirements. The best configuration is the one that matches how the doll will actually be used, moved, cleaned and stored.

Fantasy Models and the SEDOLL Elf Series

SEDOLL’s elf-style dolls remain one of the brand’s clearest signatures. Fantasy dolls are difficult to get right because the design has to balance character styling with believable sculpt detail. Ears, make-up, eye colour, face shape and body proportions all need to work together.

During the visit, the elf models gave us a useful look at how SEDOLL handles fantasy aesthetics without making the dolls feel like simple costume variations. The designs have stronger identity than standard realistic models, while still keeping the body structure and finish quality buyers expect from a serious manufacturer.

If you are looking for an elf sex doll, SEDOLL is one of the brands we would include in the conversation because we have seen the models and finishing in person.

Any Drawbacks?

The main drawback is also part of SEDOLL’s appeal: the brand operates on a smaller production scale than some larger manufacturers. That can mean limited inventory and longer lead times for made-to-order dolls, especially if you want a specific configuration.

The positive side is that smaller-scale production can allow closer control over finishing, handling and option management. Still, buyers should be realistic. If you need the fastest delivery, check in-stock availability first. If you want a custom SEDOLL configuration, expect production time and ask us to confirm the current estimate before ordering.

What the SE-X Bot AI Head Means for SEDOLL

The SE-X Bot Annika AI Head adds a new layer to SEDOLL’s product direction. The brand is no longer only working around material softness, fantasy styling, ROS heads and body configurations. It is now testing responsive technology through AI conversation and facial movement.

That does not mean AI heads should replace standard heads for every buyer. The SE-X Bot is better understood as an early adopter product. It suits buyers who are curious about AI interaction, voice response and facial movement, while accepting that the technology is still developing.

For buyers who want oral function, a standard SEDOLL ROS head may be the better choice. For buyers who want the simplest possible setup, a regular silicone or TPE head will feel easier to live with. For buyers who want to see where AI doll heads are heading, the SE-X Bot is one of the more credible early systems we have tested in person.

Why Formosa Partners With SEDOLL

We saw the production process, spoke with the team, handled finished dolls and inspected the details that matter most to buyers. That is why we offer a curated SEDOLL collection on Formosa Doll, with verified specs, real product guidance and support before you choose.

SEDOLL is not a one-note brand. It covers soft TPE models, silicone options, ROS heads, fantasy designs, compact formats and now AI head technology. That range is useful, but it also means buyers need clear advice. A ROS head, a closed-mouth head, a gel-filled body, a realistic-skin silicone doll and an AI head all solve different problems.

Our role is to help you choose based on material, handling, maintenance, compatibility and the kind of experience you actually want, not just the strongest product photo.

Frequently Asked Questions About SEDOLL Dolls

What is the difference between SEDOLL’s ROS heads and standard heads?

ROS heads include a movable jaw and a more detailed internal oral structure. Closed-mouth heads are solid, visually finished and simpler to maintain. ROS is better for buyers who want that specific function, while closed-mouth heads are better for buyers who prioritise firmness, simplicity and lower tear risk.

How soft are SEDOLL’s gel-filled breasts and buttocks?

They are very soft in the areas where gel filling is used. We tested the compression and rebound during our visit, and the gel-filled areas offered a more responsive feel than standard firm sections. Buyers should still consider the full configuration, including material, weight, body size and care needs.

Are SEDOLL dolls made of TPE or silicone?

SEDOLL produces both TPE and silicone dolls. TPE models are known for softness and flexibility, while silicone models usually offer stronger sculpt definition, especially in facial details. We inspected the TPE production floor during our original factory visit and have continued reviewing selected SEDOLL silicone models, including newer designs with more realistic skin texture.

What is the SEDOLL AYA silicone series?

The SEDOLL AYA silicone series, also known as “The Office Ladies”, is one of SEDOLL’s newer silicone directions. During our March 2026 factory visit, we previewed the finished series while SEDOLL was shooting its official marketing material, giving us an early look at the styling, surface finish and realistic skin texture direction.

Are SEDOLL dolls available in stock, or are they made to order?

Most SEDOLL dolls are made to order with your selected options. We also carry a limited selection of in-stock models when available, including EU and US warehouse stock. These are pre-configured dolls with verified specs and faster discreet delivery.

Did Formosa Doll test the SEDOLL SE-X Bot AI Head?

Yes. We tested the SE-X Bot Annika AI Head during our March 2026 SEDOLL factory visit, before its public release on 7 May 2026. We checked the voice response, facial movement, setup, compatibility considerations and real-use limits. You can read the full SEDOLL SE-X Bot Annika AI Head review for the detailed breakdown.

Does the SEDOLL SE-X Bot AI Head have oral function?

No. The SE-X Bot Annika AI Head does not include oral function. Its value is focused on AI conversation, voice response and facial expression movement. Buyers who prioritise oral function should consider a standard SEDOLL ROS head instead.

Is the SEDOLL AI Head compatible with every doll body?

No. The SE-X Bot Annika AI Head uses an M16 connector and is intended for compatible silicone bodies, but it should not be treated as universal. Compatibility depends on connector fit, neck support, body material, balance and manufacturer guidance. We would not recommend pairing it with a TPE body unless SEDOLL confirms it is safe.
