Irokebijin Factory Visit: Anime Design, HSS Silicone & Craftsmanship

Irokebijin is the anime-focused brand under Doll Forever and the latest creation of Mizuwali, the designer behind Piper Doll. Known for soft materials, fantasy aesthetics and carefully sculpted faces, Irokebijin brings anime to life with S-TPE and Hyper Soft Silicone (HSS). We visited the production site to see exactly what sets them apart.

Why We Visited Irokebijin Sex Dolls

At Formosa Doll, we feature only brands we have inspected in person. Irokebijin sex dolls are renowned for anime-style faces, refined body lines and advanced materials. We wanted to verify how S-TPE and HSS are used in practice, and to understand Mizuwali’s approach to build quality and quality control.

From Showroom to Workshop: First Impressions

The first facility we entered was divided into three areas:

  • Showroom. A full line-up of Irokebijin and Piper Dolls where we compared formats and materials side by side. We could feel the difference between S-TPE bodies and HSS silicone for softness, elasticity and durability.
  • Photo studio. Mizuwali personally shoots the promotional images for each new release here. The output stays consistent and true to the design intent.
  • Make-up room. Every head receives a hand-applied finish that creates the distinctive Irokebijin look.

Each original Irokebijin head carries a discreet stamp showing the brand name. With some indicating series number and model name — a mark of authenticity and traceability verified during our factory visit.

Other Irokebijin models feature a stamp indicating the year the mold was created. This mark refers to the mold’s production date, not the doll’s manufacturing date.

Inside the Irokebijin Factory

The production area is clean and well organised. S-TPE and HSS manufacturing are kept on separate floors to control process variables and maintain consistency. One discovery stood out to us. Irokebijin produces its own skeletons in-house and tests them each morning for flexibility and durability (during our visit, the Formosa Doll team also witnessed the sister brand Piper Doll’s flexibility QC in action, a rare look at their shared engineering precision). This gives full control over one of the most critical components of a doll.

What Makes Irokebijin Special

  • Face design and features. The "following eyes" and removable eyebrow systems keep improving expression and ease of customisation.
  • Permanent make-up. The artist demonstrated wash-resistant finishes that remain intact even when cleaned with soap.
  • In-house skeletons. Consistent joint behaviour and smooth movement thanks to controlled production and testing.
  • Material quality. S-TPE reduces weight and cost while keeping high durability. HSS is exceptionally soft, elastic and tear-resistant, which supports natural posing.
  • Size range. From 90 cm through 156 cm in S-TPE and up to 160 cm in HSS, collectors can choose petite or full-scale models.
